Academic Coaching involves more than mere tutoring.  In order for the learner to reach her or his potential, it is helpful to understand learning style, study skills, and the way in which the student views academic workflow.  People are, after all, the unique product of their genes and their environment.  Therefore no two learners, save for possibly identical twins, are exactly alike.

For these reasons, we spend a good deal of time surveying our students, determining strengths and opportunities, and deliberately plotting a strategy that will help them maximize their potential in the classroom.  We measure our progress through student grades and the impact to the GPA.

The nice thing about this approach is that it lends itself to standardized test preparation as well.  The connections we make though our initial consultations and subsequent follow-up meetings can and will be leveraged in the classroom as well as the through the SAT or ACT prep process.

Our preliminary coaching session is informed by this survey which is free to all.  Once the survey is filled out, we’ll contact you to set a time to speak in more depth about your learner’s goals.
